Autumn to Winter

by

Autumn leaves;
Gold, red, brown,
Flutter to the ground.

Bare branches;
Stretch, reach,
Sway without a sound.

South sun;
Sinks low,
Rests for another day.

Swift geese;
Beat the wind,
Know they cannot stay.

Crisp air;
Silent anticipation,
Sends the pregnant clouds.

Cold snow;
Damp, white,
Covers land like a shroud.

Almighty God;
Vast, Wise, Pure,
Enters soul, profound.
